Wrong Hard Deck

In your documents is clear 100 feet AGL hard deck or did you forgot 1 numbers like 0 and you mean 1000 feet AGL? If it 5000 feet AGL then how should be possible the 3rd engagement when its start at 6000 feet AGL?

Within the Military Operations Area (ie the NTTR Range) the Hard Deck is 5,000 FT AGL. Within the combat target range where the actual dogfighting is taking place the Hard Deck is lowered to 100 FT AGL.

 

When flying to and from the combat target range or anytime outside of the combat target range area (like flying to a tanker), you should fly above 5,000 FT AGL. This is to ensure you avoid any low level traffic like helicopters for example.

 

Once inside the combat target range and engaged in direct combat then you are permitted to fly as low as 100 FT AGL. However, if you break the combat target range Hard Deck then the dogfight engagement will be terminated as it would be considered a safety violation.
