Click "No" to discard and continue unsaved - still saves!

I'm using the Beta, but don't see any forum for posting Beta problems. So, please move this post if it's in the wrong place.

 

I made a change to a mission and clicked Fly.

I clicked the No button. Which says "Press 'No' to discard and continue unsaved"

The problem is, that it saves my changes! Even though I clicked NO.:cry:

It plays the mission as-is with the changes you added, but if you were to go to file-open and reload it should keep the original .miz

And when I exit the mission, my changes are still there as if it saved it. But it didn't save it to file?

 

Ok, I never noticed that..

 

So, when it says "discard and continue", you're saying it doesn't discard your changes? It plays with your changes? I'm a bit confused..

I think so though I agree it's a bit confusing...try reloading the file?

Are you entering missions directly from Mission Editor? If so, the prompt is currently misleading in that it tells you to press "No" to discard your changes and continue. The changes aren't discarded and you will enter the mission with those changes intact. But the changes aren't saved either. If you actually exit the mission AND mission editor without deliberately saving the mission then only the previously saved version will be available from your missions list or when you re-enter the ME.
