Avalanche110 Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 (edited) Ever since the last update, I have been unable to start the engine in my Harrier. the engine start switch does not seem to do anything. This usually happens to me when the throttle cut off lever is not engaged. I read another user was having a similar issue after the 2.5.3.21016 update. The advice given to him was to exit VR and bind the throttle cutoff to the keyboard and ensure the lever is engaged. I have tried this repeatedly without success and I am at a total loss for why I cannot start this bird. I am using a WARTHOG HOTAS with the throttle cut off bound to the idle detent switch. I have deleted all HOTAS bindings and tried a cold start with keyboard and mouse commands only with no success. Is anyone else having this issue since the update? Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Edited August 31, 2018 by Avalanche110
defeatist99 Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 (edited) I gave that advice in the other thread. I had an issue once last night where the engine start switch remained engaged even at 9.2 percent rpm. Make sure your engine start switch has automatically turned off on top of the throttle cut off being engaged. Started right up after I turned the engine start switch to off. Also check the fuel cutoff lever. A couple of times recently I clicked on it and it didn't disengage. I thought I hit it, but I guess not. Edited September 2, 2018 by defeatist99 add help.
