Cockpit Camera Move Commands do not work in VR.

 

 

Deleted config folder in Saved Games directory

Oh, you mean like moving your view forward and backward etc? It was working. Let me check...............brb

I can move forward and backward no problem.

I don't think it saves the view properly. I've tried it a couple times and I think it worked a couple times but won't save for me anymore. I have to reset it every flight.

It’s funny how in the last couple of days 4 topics on this exact same concern have been started. Doesn’t anyone use the search feature anymore?

To be fair, the search function on this forum software isn't exactly precise. That being said, its not like the search function was even needed, because there were no less than 2 topics about this on the VR board, and they were right at the top. People like us take the time to make sure we're giving accurate information, post our solutions, and then the thread ends without even so much as a "Thanks! That fixed it!". Now I know what Google would feel like if it were human. :)

It would really help if people would title their post with useful info, instead of "HELP!", "Noob Question", or my favorite "WTF".

OK,

Well got things working after deleting the config folder in Saved Games/ DCSOpenbeta. I may not have had to delete the whole folder, but it has always worked for so many things.

They're not supposed to work in VR. If you want to change the default viewpoint switch to 2D, save new location by the key command or edit the plane views LUA (look for CockpitLocalPoint), then switch back to VR.
