tn_prvteye Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 I'm working on a Hornet model, and I've got a question about the color of the nose. It used to be the nose was "Radome Tan". But I've seem some skins and pics that make it look almost white...or a very light gray. Is this the color that's actually used now, or is that just the Radome Tan getting bleached and faded by weathering? I'm asking about the USN Hornets, BTW. I'm painting the current Dark Ghost Gray over Light Ghost Gray scheme, not the early Light Ghost gray over Light Gray...those obviously did have the tan nose.
