Nealius Posted September 15, 2018 Posted September 15, 2018 I really just noticed this after doing some HUD-only cinematics, but also realized it could be a problem for people who want to make sim pits utilizing HUD-only views (not that there seem to be many sim pits available for DCS...yet). In all other modules, there are only three things displayed in Alt+F1 HUD only view: the HUD, left display, and right display. However, for whatever reason, on the Harrier every single cockpit display is coded to appear in HUD only view: HUD, left display, right display, ODU, UFC, and even the radio channels. Everything is just piled on top of each other. After each DCS update I have to edit the .lua files to get a proper HUD only view, and then I get stuck with a kneeboard that can't be hidden during replay tracks (it works fine when flying). To remove the kneeboard from the Harrier's HUD only view, I have to then edit the DCS common .lua for the kneeboard, which then results in the attached picture below: A flickering kneeboard on an invisible pilot's thigh that will not go away. It's slightly irritating.
