Shooting Clouds

If you're looking for a different atmosphere to carry out ground attack missions then try setting the over cast clouds to about 350 to 400 meters with a 100 meter thickness. Then put your targets on any hill or mountain top that protrude through the cloud layer.

 

It really gives you a sense of height above the target and it looks cool too :D .

Very atmospheric indeed, we have the same taste!

 

Lovely shots and angles, now where is that mountain top located? Most mountaintops that would protrude above the cloud layer don't have roads on them.

For more precise coordinates just download this Test Mission I just made that marks several areas. Leave labels on and just press F2 to switch between regions to check them out in game ..

Nice! I've tried this myself in the past. A problem I had though is some annoying flickering of the boundary between the clouds and the ground.

Try having mid afternoon, a nice foggy mist over the land and then have targets with shilkas guarding them. :D get in the hog and take on the shilka with the GUA8 cannon. :D FUNNNN! :D
