Some bug arround the BFR radar mode :

1) according to the manual, the BFR radar mode relies on unfiltered radar return. however i have noticed that i can't spot targets flying at near 0 relative velocity, even at high altitude in look up situation :

track : M-2000 bug report BFR mode 0 relative speed .trk

2) according to the manual, the BFR radar mode has very poor look down ability, due to the unfiltered return, however i have noticed that i can look down in BFR mode without problem, and i can even lock target exploiting the RDO bug ( 3 )

Track : M-2000 bug report BFR mode look-lock down .trk

3) according to the manual, the BFR radar mode does not allow to lock target, however i have noticed that i can lock target by using the RDO button on the PCA :

tracks :

M-2000 bug report BFR mode RDO TWS lock .trk

4) bug or feature ? : switching to BFR from HFR of ENT mode does not break the current TWS lock:

M-2000 bug report BFR mode TWS lock from ENT HFR .trk

when locking in STT ( HFR mode ), the lock remains even after switching to ENT or BFR, and allows to fire and guides Super-530D

Currently the ground return isn't simulated in BFR.

That's a poi t Razbam became aware off when a member of the team when to pay a visit to Mirage 2000C squadron and tried the real simulator.

RDO: separated known bug, should be dealt with PCA correction...sometime in the future.

Switching PRF with target locked: I don't know. Maybe the lock takes the priority and PRF doesn't change.

At east one point sure: firing automatically enforce HFR, a lot of weapon systems works that way for Fox 1 (like F-15C to name one).
