hornet1a Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 (edited) A quickly done video showcasing the Mig-29 PFM damage modeling at hard (intentional) landing situation. I added as a bonus some video captured earlier from a landing of the F/A-18C that i wanted to share:it was not to show the Mig-29 PFM in a negative way. Sorry about that! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qA_hBcEMCY Edited October 11, 2018 by hornet1a bad title

hornet1a Posted October 10, 2018 Author Posted October 10, 2018 Been trying to do another video with normal landing but i'm bouncing all over the runway :-) Quite a high performance aircraft but tricky to fly probably like driving a 1978 Porsche 911 turbo.......
pepin1234 Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 What a crap video!! You convinced all the community. You almost got it... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
hornet1a Posted October 11, 2018 Author Posted October 11, 2018 What i wanted to show is the advanced damage modeling introduced with the PFM instead of the scripted explosion present pre-PFM. The title should have been:advanced damage modeling of the PFM Mig-29 not that its hard to land. Like in this video that i did in 2006 with the introduction of the AFM Su-25 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcGUwN7Q2TQ
hornet1a Posted October 11, 2018 Author Posted October 11, 2018 The proper pre PFM and post PFM landing part:
