Omega Oska Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 When no AWACS is available, it seems that the only way to find out it's position is by locking it up. But I found that after locking it up, it will not extend the probe for me to refuel ( and this is a bug?). Moreover, the default range where it will give you the required airspeed and altitude is a bit too close for me. As I prefer starting my preparation early. Shouldn't there be radion commwith the tanker?
DPS Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Locking up the tanker with the radar to get its speed usually works for me - as long as you keep your finger off the fire button. Here's a little tutorial I did for the A-10 which might help: I gave up on the Su-33 refuelling as it got to be hard work with FC.
Omega Oska Posted June 12, 2007 Author Posted June 12, 2007 Thanks, that is a nice tutorial. But the A10 cannot locate a tanker on its own? I hope ED can add radio comm with the tanker in Black Shark. BTW, sometimes the tanker just won't extend the basket/boom. Is this a bug or what?
thesystem Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 @DPS... Refueling the Su-33 is just the easiest thing! The basket moves with you so even when you are going a bit to fast just sow down and the basket will extend again....nothing hard about it DCS World, A10C, AV8B, M2k, FA18C, FC3, MIG21
