ok guys im a new in overclock so i decide to set my 8700k at 4.7ghz i dont need more power at the moment

 

 

i have set my bios as is shown here exactly the same except that i have left AVX at level 2

 

 

 

 

i have ran AIDA, cineberch R15, INTEL BURN TEST for hours the average temperature never go past more than 65c

 

 

ambient room temperature:22c

 

idle:25-28c

under load:58-60c (gaming)

stress tests with the above programs 68c with some hiccups 1 second at 72-74c

 

 

cooler dark rock pro 4

vcore at 1.232v

 

 

your opinions?

Run HWinfo64 and report the actual vcore being fed to the CPU. I think the 1.232v is what you have dialed in but not what is fed under full load. SVID does change that value, depending on your choosen Case Scenario, BCS, WCS or Auto iirc.

 

 

The temps are ok and the oc is fine too, just look at the real deal with HWinfo ;)
