Options.lua help

I had a look at this file in the DCS Saved Games and noticed that the settings were totally different to my settings in game. If I delete the contents of FX0 and Metashaders2 folders, will this put this right or should I manually edit as well?

 

 

 

Also, I noticed there are settings for Trees (Viewable etc). Can these be edited to give me better performance? I have my tree settings at 30%. Can this be lowered in Options.lua?
