I unfold wings, pressed FCS reset, then Takeoff Trim. I clear the master caution but the check trim warning stays on the DDI. Is this a bug?

The Hornet is best at killing things on the ground. Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail...

Trim on the carrier is different to a land based takeoff.

 

There's a gazillion threads with the table for the trim settings in the main F18 forum.
