Hi Cobra,

can the braking coefficient be double checked ? Are both gears producing the same braking power ?

The brakes seem way over powerful (compared to other modules at least) and also unbalanced, inducing a tendency to steer right under braking...

Thanks for any info on this !

You brake too hard ? I use a slider to manage my brakes pressure, and the braking is efficient and stable like this. If you pull your brake at full pressure however, wheel lock appear and you'll be unstable

I guess this is the reason (when braking becomes necessary because reverser is not enough) when after applying keyboard commandoes, the brakes are activated at their full power, the aircraft starts to be unstable around vertical axis.

Any slight deviation from exact horizontal runway slope, or any lift produced by the wings will lead to side motion tendency. But it has to be said that the reverser, due to its arrangement behind the main landing gear, has some stabilizing effect though.

As far as I can remember, a JA37 pilot told us during military service that the wheels rotated 17% slower than the surface to get maximum braking without locking. Would be great if that could be implemented in DCS.
