Zoomer Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 (edited) I said elsewhere here, there is an improvement in the smoothness of the VR experience. I`m seeing near 50% usage on the CPU (i7 4790K) and it seems across the cores as per the resource monitor. I`m also using the updated shader mod which I always run. Crowded scenarios seem to run better with less impact on fps. I did the first aggressor mission in the F-5 and it was a definite improvement over the previous stutter fest due to the very crowded Nellis base before takeoff. I had fps in the high 20`s to 30 as I stated up and taxied to the runway. The GPU (2080) was still choking around the 30% mark but improved as the scenario became less crowed. The CPU is definitely being utilized more and lets hope the trend continues and we can max out the hardware instead of being software capped.
