Rudel_chw Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Is worthy to change the pots of my old cougar or buy a warthog? It depends .. on one hand it is much cheaper the change of pots, at around 45 Euro vs 400 for a new Warthog; on the other, your Cougar may have other worn componentes that have yet to fail, like the Gimbals, the microstick or any of its buttons. Also, the Cougar is a replica of the F-16 Hotas; while the Warthog is a replica of the A-10s .. take your pick :D On my own case, I prefer to keep the old lady running, as it has a much easier programming utility than the Warthog's: Foxy vs Target, and both are so much more powerful than programming the Hotas within DCS. Here is a review I made of aftermarket pots that are manufactured by a fellow member of this Forum: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=225733 Best regards For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
