Displaying the fuel reserve

The page 197 of the RC1 manual reads:

 

The entered fuel reserve is displayed by setting the mode TAKT/IN and inputting 510000 and then switching to mode TAKT/UT.

I've been able to set a fuel reserve of 99% (the fuel indicator needles moved as soon as I pressed LS).

 

However I'm unable to display the fuel reserve in the data panel. Is it bugged or is the manual erroneous?
