How to purchase a module for a friend???

I was at the store wanting to buy FC3 for my brother as a gift. It asks me for his login or email. Are they asking for his DCS login of the sim or the shop login? Not sure if they are the same!! Can't remember.

His ED account login "username", I presume so it can be applied to that ED user.
