VR at a whole new level. 2 games in one. Call of Duty plus DCS. I'm sure you want to be able to bend over, crouch and inspect the oleo struts? ;) Maybe a one click cinematic could be made?

How cool would it be, to be able to do what every pilot does before getting in.

Can't you do that today? I've never tried it, but after you eject you can walk around. Of course you're going to need proper roomscale setup. Not too sure how many of us can afford that much space.

You can do this in room scale vr already u just have to re enter your view at the right real world height of the cockpit before then 'getting out' and walking around

You'll need a room scale the size of a basketball court though

On a practical level, it is a pretty unneeded feature IMO.

Most people will use it once per new aircraft, then opt just to start in the cockpit for time saving purposes.

It's a nice idea, but probably not worth the effort to do it properly with climbing into the cockpit when you've finished walking around.
