nopifies Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 The DCS F-18 DLC has a bug in relation to the keyboard. The problem is that no keyboard order is recognized by DCS F18 Hornet.
Steve Wills Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Seems no one else has this problem. Very strange.
LeCuvier Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 This is certainly not a general bug, or else there would be a real shitstorm on the forum. I just tried to be sure and keyboard commands work. You do not give enough information for anybody to guess what might cause your problem. 1. When you go to Options / Controls, select F/A-18C Sim, do you see commands in the column "Keyboard"? 2. If not, do you have a file named "default.lua" in the folder "...Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Input\FA-18C\keyboard"? Lancelot2022 Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 (edited) I have this problem with my x56. The buttons show well in test, but the keyboard will not pass on the x56 commands. Do you still have this problem? I do not have an in game Keyboard column. Edited May 26, 2019 by PipperArcherII
LeCuvier Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 ... I do not have an in game Keyboard column. If you have no "Keyboard" column under Options/Controls, I can only see two possible reasons for that: 1. There is no "default.lua" file under "\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Input\FA-18C\keyboard" (sounds unlikely) 2. DCS World does not "see" a keyboard. What kind of keyboard is connected to your PC? Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the X-56; does it emulate a keyboard?
