A plea to all module developers, to supply their modules with a alternate cockpit option, that has a clean glare and fake reflection free canopy.

I get that its cool and looks good, for the most of a time, on a monitor with shadows enabled, with canopy fake reflections and various amount of dirt and glare etc. But it certainly doesnt in VR with shadows off. Shadows are too heavy to run, so having them off really poses a problem with the canopy glare in pretty much all modules. The fake reflections, if strong (like Spitfire and MiG-15 for example), really doesnt work in VR, cause they have no depth, so its just this thing painted on the canopy.

And its not like its gonna be a huge advantage, having opted to run with a clear canopy. Its on the other hand a massive disadvantage and incredibly intrusive, when you cant afford shadows, in regards to the glare. And the fake reflections, well they just dont look good or work well in VR.

The F-18 strikes the best balance in the game though. So that would of course also be an option, to correct the canopies of the modules, to be more like the Hornets.

Here are two really intrusive ones, I had snapped in the recent days. But it is as said a problem in pretty much all modules.

I would also like to add to this, and option to turn off the fake looking cracking/scratching effect used on almost all modules - which is a really obviously repeating very low res normal map, and has not been updated at all since day one, which looks absolutely terrible if you use multi monitor setups. It is just about bearable on a single screen, but the option to not have to bear it (unless it is improved) would be nice. I guess that it is low priority, but just look how other sims do it guys - if you have to keep it, at least make it look less tiled & use a higher res texture.
