Kentvilla Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 Hi Not sure if I posted this on the right Thread but couldn't see the Harrier on in the list. I have a few problems I need help with. Problem 1 is I set a mission up in mission builder with waypoints but when I start on the ramp I cant seem to get the waypoints I put in it seems to be frozen on 25.4 miles waypoint 1. And this never moves. But if I start on the runway the waypoints are all there. Also I want to know what the missiles and bombs are for and do I,e distance I can fire them from what's best for what situation. is there a list? the same for the contacts you get on the radar (the ones in the circles) I was wondering in there was a knee board one I can down load? Any help would be much appreciated
ricktoberfest Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 For your first issue, you need to align the INS when you start the aircraft. For your second issues and to learn how to do the first, check out the manual in the docs folder of the docs install, or chucks guide on the harrier. Just google it. Kentvilla Posted January 3, 2019 Author Posted January 3, 2019 (edited) For your first issue, you need to align the INS when you start the aircraft. I have done the INS Align but still nothing. I do the INS align then switch to NAV but no information comes up on the HUD. No climb lines no waypoints. The only way I can get this information is turn the selector knob to GYRO then back to NAV and it all appears but the Waypoint doesn't move from the 25.4 miles to waypoint 1. Am I doing something wrong? Edited January 3, 2019 by Kentvilla

Seb71 Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 You have manuals in the game folder, in \Mods\aircraft\[aircraft name]\Doc.
Kentvilla Posted January 3, 2019 Author Posted January 3, 2019 You have manuals in the game folder, in \Mods\aircraft\[aircraft name]\Doc. I do apologise but I am very new to this only been playing it over xmas. Where is my game folder?
some1 Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 (edited) It's where you've installed the game (program files or other folder). Unfortunately for a beginner, you've picked a very difficult aircraft to learn. Documentation and tutorials are lacking and many bugs don't help either. It's still in development.
