blackactionedwin Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 (edited) Hi there again, Mission 11 seems to be bugged right at the beginning. Hawk 3 sticks on the ground. They hold short in front of runway 03L even though they get permission for take-off. Hawk 1 and 2 depart as planned. When I taxi to 03L and contact tower on 04, I get clearance for take-off. Unfortunately my Mirage buddies stick on the ground and Hawk 3 also. Please check your campaign missions as I had troubles Mission 9, 10 and now 11 in a row. see also threads) if the mistake is on my side please advise kind regards BAE Edited January 12, 2019 by blackactionedwin
baltic_dragon Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Hey, there seem to be some general problem with taxi behaviour in the latest Open Beta... Please see this thread for M11. I will check the other missions and let ED know or move the aircraft around the parking spots a little, maybe it will help with other missions too. Sorry for the trouble, it worked like charm before... For more information, please visit my website. blackactionedwin Posted January 13, 2019 Author Posted January 13, 2019 many thanks Baltic Dragon, I cannot imagine what nightmare it must be to keep a campaign working with an ever and ever changing DCS World behind it. keep up the good work; your campaigns are premium. kind regards BAE :pilotfly:
blackactionedwin Posted March 15, 2019 Author Posted March 15, 2019 new bug detected Hi Baltic Dragon, thanks for fixing the take off bug; after several trials I now managed to survive the Gazelle hell. I noticed, what is possibly a bug, as it happened two times. After all Gazelle´s are down I got the victory message and order to RTB which I did. Only a few miles out of Nellis I got information of A-10´s going down one by one till the loss was so severe that the mission got ranked "not succesful". ... so once again into hell: Again fighting off the Gazelle´s as good as possible; this time I called the A-10´s via the F10 menu "winchester" and everyone called out "RTB". On the way back home I monitored via F10 and noticed that the A-10´s remain in enemy territory and keep on fighting either gazelle´s or enemy air defence (Roland it was I think). I then rushed back with full AB, made a harsh landing just to get the "accomplished" note in time. Obviously A-10´s do not RTB. kind regards BAE
baltic_dragon Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 (edited) Thanks I will try to look at this this weekend. Weird though with all the safeguards I included... :) Thinking about it, perhaps they just ran out of fuel and reported being destroyed. I'll try to make them RTB but also will decouple game registering their crashes after mission victory is obtained. baltic_dragon Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 Mission internally updated. There was a missing flag for Hawg to RTB, although it is weird - it seems as it has been deleted during one of the updates, because it was checked and set, but the number was 0. Anyway, this should be working now. I also made sure there are no reports of Hawgs being shot down after mission success. Thanks for the feedback guys! For more information, please visit my website.
