I need help. I REALLY need help.

My issue is simple: I have the code to update a miz file, as DAWS did, but I need to do that on the same file the user (or host) loaded as a mission... after the mission is closed.

I want to create a simple "campaign" using the campaign manager and loading always the same single file every time... but I can't update that particular file cause it's "in use".

I need a chunk, without using external software or code (It mean that it has to rely only on API or server scripting environment), that will overwrite my file with another one I already created as soon as that file is not "in use" anymore. Or that will retry multiple time till it's done.

I tried postponing the "overwrite" action... but it doesn't work and It's not reliable.

Could anyone help me?

thanks in advance.

Thanks.

Good question, I have done similar, but I`ve used external software - winrar + console bat file. But anyway DCS are not frees the loaded mission, so I have to create miz copy file and load it.

PS Doesn't ED helps to their 3-rd parties in tech question?
