MirabelleBenou Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Hello ! I have some problem to figure how to correctly turn when taxiing. I've assigned left and right brakes axis to my rudder but I do not understand how it works. It seems that sometimes the plane will turn accordingly, but if I want to turn the other way, it went weird (plane stop or do turn only a little). Any advices ? Thanks ! Have a nice day. 06th Multirole Helicopter Regiment Bataillon d'hélicoptères de combat - Escadrille FENNEC
kontiuka Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Hi. I'm assuming you have rudder pedals with toe brakes? If you press too hard on the toe brakes, the plane will stop before you get much of a turn. Try just gentle pressure on the toe brakes. Also, use Ctrl-Enter to show the controls pop-up so you can verify that the brakes are actually engaging correctly. Also, you don't want to be travelling too fast while using the brakes to turn.
MirabelleBenou Posted January 19, 2019 Author Posted January 19, 2019 Thanks for your quick answer. Yes, I have Thrustmaster T.Flight. Will try as you say, thanks :) 06th Multirole Helicopter Regiment Bataillon d'hélicoptères de combat - Escadrille FENNEC
MirabelleBenou Posted January 20, 2019 Author Posted January 20, 2019 Found my problem. I needed to tune the toe brakes axis and select "invert". Works fine then :) Thanks for helping ! 06th Multirole Helicopter Regiment Bataillon d'hélicoptères de combat - Escadrille FENNEC
