skins looking the same

have a couple of huey skins that now look the same when used, for example a Swedish sar now looks the same as olive drab.

I changed the deleted .bmp/.tga and changed the lua to match, but is this now gonna happen with some till they are updated or do I need to do something else?

A good idea is to check with the skinner who made them to see if he is updating them. If you dont have any joy there get me a copy of the skins you have problems with I will have a look and see what the problem is.

thank you Strut, the basic in game ones, olive drab/army are exactly the same too, I wonder if a shared file for the skins is doing it, found it with the others but as yet the two standard ones I cant, no biggie just wondering :)

strut, just an update, been a long while :) the standard us army skin if from say a quick mission the crossed cutlasses(swords) are on the door, if I select them in my on mission or a quick fly I just get the olive drab no swords, checked the lua and the the in game skin and they both show....don't get it, any way thanks for your emergency exit, have it already :)

From what I see in the .lua of the standard army skin, the cutlasses only get used when the Huey has weapon stations (so not in the [civ] part of the .lua); you can edit that accordingly.
