westr Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 A question that I’m sure someone can answer for me. I know the beautiful Tomcat D was retired in 2006 but I can’t find anything to tell me when the last F-14a’s we’re retired from service. Could someone explain? I’m sure BlackLion will know for example. RYZEN 7 3700X Running at 4.35 GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti 32gb DDR4 RAM @3200 MHz Oculus CV1 NvME 970 EVO TM Warthog Stick & Throttle plus 11" extension. TonyG Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 (edited) Buno 158632 was the last F-14A to land at AMARC On September 13, 2004 as Nickel 103 (VF-211]. Their last cruise was as part of CVW-1 on the Enterprise in 03/04. Last launch was May of 2004 for VF-211.
