I was trying to edit dedicated On and Off mapping for the cockpit switches, but apparently it does not work that easily. For example, on the right panel

//Missile Heat On/Off - R_SHIFT+'B'

//IR-SAR Missiles Master - R_SHIFT+'N'

//Pylon 1-2 Power On/Off - R_SHIFT+'M'

//Pylon 3-4 Power On/Off - R_SHIFT+','

//GSH-23 Gun Power Switch - R_SHIFT + '.'

All work On and Off with repeated clicks. Also in the cockpit never mind right or left click always On and then Off. I would like to have separate On and Separate Off so that I can program it all in joystick to switch everything on or everything off (like a Master Arm On or Off script).

I have done similar things already in Mirage or so, but Mig-21 seems to be persistent of following different logic.

I recently flew the Mig after about a year. Something has changed regarding the controls. My previous HOTAS profile doesn't work. The wheekbrake and rudder don't steer (except in the training mission?). The SAU didn't work from HOTAS, neither from keyboard. The brake chute won't deploy.

So in the last 12 months something has altered with the Mig and I don't know what? The controls menu correctly shows the buttons are being pushed on my stick and throttle, but in the sim they don't work?

I hope when they update it, someone can beta test it properly.

I think they forget about these older modules and concentrate on the new money spinners!:cry:

They('they' refers to ED) changed the profile formatting of the config files. Other aircraft were unbound completely to force the player to re-bind with the current configuration (Like the Hornet)

What you have to do now is either set everything to default and re-bind or delete your old config file and make a new one. You can't use the older config and I don't think overwriting it with new configs works either (Though you can try, there's no harm since the file is already messed up).

Either ways, even though it's registering the same button presses, the changes in config file formatting mean that it's interpreting your presses differently and have to be re-bound.
