DGC338 Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 I know how to go from AUTO to CCIP (Ivank description and Wags Video) does the Hornet have to ability to go from CCIP to AUTO. I believe in the Av-8 amongst other Aircraft (F-16) if are in CCIP and the reflected CCIP is in view (not the actual CCIP) and you pickle the MC will revert to an AUTO delivery mode on the spot "designated" by the reflected CCIP. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=201489&highlight=reflected+ccip Does this happen in the Hornet? Or is it a feature yet to be implemented?
WildBillKelsoe Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 I'm afraid this is not for the hornet. I know what you are saying as in BMS when you hold down the pickle without releasing, the CCIP solution turns to a steering line for CCRP (Auto).. This, I think does NOT apply to the hornet. AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.
Rainmaker Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Using the ball and chain is about the best you can do IMO. The pipper will allow you to steer and give CCRP cues using the desinate function so in a way, I think you are getting what you want.
