Ship Titles in Mission Editor

With the upcoming addition of the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer, and the relatively recent addition of ship liveries, would it be possible to make a small change in the ME so that ships are listed by their class as opposed to their name (in certain cases).

 

e.g. instead of CG-60 Normandy it should probably say Ticonderoga-class cruiser. Obviously this would not exactly apply to the current Stennis since the model itself is of the Stennis with the physical '74' lights on the conning tower; perhaps the new advanced module will be a Nimitz-class carrier that has multiple liveries that affect the external model with the correct lights and markings? If not, no big deal.
