The RH hat switch on my Hog throttle is misbehaving and it has always been loose and not too good

I'd like to replace the hat with something better, I was looking at the Leo Bodnar but sure there are other solutions available

Anybody know of something that is physically the right dimensions, better quality and will work?

Cheers

Hi Boris

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not looking for a slew, I have a force sensor installed already

What I'm looking for is an improved hat switch for the hat on the side of the RH throttle

Replace the defective* HAT with one from Thrustmaster is the more practical option.

Use this from L.Bodnar - or just the Alphs RKJXL switch without this PCB will require some physical modifications in throttle shells.

Mouser.com has better HAT (Multi-directional Switch) but since are done for professional use, price is high:

* Anyway this original HAT is just 4 micro-switches around a pole, is possible replace just the micro-switches (e.g. by OMRON) depends on DIY skill.

Thanks for the links Sokol that's appreciated.

I may just end up junking the throttle and getting a Virpil, but then if I go down that route I don't want to junk my aftermarket slew, so I'd need to find a way to have it incorporated into something.

Perhaps build a button box and incorporate the slew into it.
