TOViper Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 (edited) As the title says: When entering the cockpit for "Take-off from runway" the throttle (thrust lever) is set to approx 10%. This is the case when joystick is plugged in, AND also when the joystick is not plugged in. When the joystick is unplugged, and the power is still set to 10%, and then the joystick us plugged IN with its throttle lever set to full back position (0) the throttle in the aircraft is then set to 0%. I remember times when this wasn't the case (approx 1 year ago ... maybe). Here is a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qxx10Fj2_3g. I am unplugging the stick while its throttle is set to full back, and when plugged in the simulation reacts and sets the aircraft throttle full back too. This is not the case in other aircraft like the F-15, or the F-5. Please take a look into it, thanks! Kind regards, TOViper Edit: Tested with CH Combat Stick 568 and CH Flightstick Pro USB Edited March 25, 2019 by TOViper Visit https://www.viggen.training ...Viggen... what more can you ask for? my computer: AMD Ryzen 5600G 4.4 GHz | NVIDIA RTX 3080 10GB | 32 GB 3.2 GHz DDR4 DUAL | SSD 980 256 GB SYS + SSD 2TB DCS | TM Warthog Stick + Throttle + TRP | Rift CV1
corvinus Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Do you have the "sync HOTAS on start-up" option enabled? Fwiw using this option in combination with a X52 does not lead to the problem you mentioned.

bertOC Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 This is not a bug but a feature. You are not supposed to run the viggen's engine in full idle, instead the first click marks the ground idle positing with the engine sitting at 10% like you described. Syncing your hotas will just move the throttle when you enter the cockpit. This is how it should be done and why the mission starts with the throttle in the correct position. However this is a pain in the ass and I ignore the rule all the time, the ground crew guy responsible for your brakes will thank you. Never had bad repercussions from going full idle for extended amounts of time.
