Controller input not recognized in-game

Fellas, I'm currently using the Thrustmaster 16000 HOTAS and throttle. They're good pieces of equipment, moderately priced. I've had no problem using them, and they're still working fine -- or were.

 

 

Starting today, when I press a button in game, nothing happens. DCS clearly recognizes the button presses when I'm doing a profile setup in the controls panel, and I've confirmed with my Windows software that the controllers are recognized, but in game there's no response. And this has just happened suddenly. It feels like maybe a corrupt profile, but a rebuilt profile has the same problem.

 

 

Any idea why this is happening?

Did you find a solution to this issue?

I use the TWCS throttle combined with warthog stick.

I also noted recently that the x axis of 4way button below the the 8ways hat button would cannot be mapped in dcs key mapping option.

I had wanted to map it to the new MIDS radio function for the Hornet but suddenly would not be recognized. Other buttons are working.
