I came across this issue a few years back while watching a few YouTube videos. It appears that when the F-14 makes contact with the basket the hose starts oscillating which I've heard, if not corrected can be dangerous.

I found this old Grumman documentary/video on the training and conversion of Imperial Iranian Air force pilots to the F-14.

The issue I'm referring to is talked about at 15:40 in the video. My question is, will this be modeled in Heatblur's Tomcat? Actually it's more to do with the hose than the aircraft I think.

It's not specific to the Tomcat, but all probe and drogue aircraft. When contact is made, the hose is supposed to "give", and draw back into the pod of the tanker, to counter the sine wave generated.
