Japo32 Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Hi! I have bought this plane since the beggining, but didn't fly it serioustly until today, because I wanted to leave it finish more or less. Is it normal that maintaning normal thrust in green arc all the time, without any issue, when I just for example make a go around so putting more thrust, but not full (but I suppose it should allow full thrust for a moment), the plane is on fire (the ETT temperature raises a lot) so I have to cut the throttle fuel, and re start in flight without any issue announced after that? I feel the plane too sensitive producing fire (in 1 hour 3 times...and believe me I fly with care 80% thrust in climbs.. and less on cruise)....
Vibora Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 If you exceed an ITT of 830 °C for 5 minutes when flying the C-101EB, you'll get engine stall, and engine fire if you persist in engine mishandling. Roberto "Vibora" Seoane Alas Rojas [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
