BrzI Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 I am able to save custom default view (hit Numpad Enter) for Mig29A but not for Mig29S. Is there a way to do this manually ? Under which of the four Mig29s in the snapviews.lua file ? Thanks
Kayos Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 That's odd. You double checked saving snapviews was ticked in settings? Or maybe it's bound to a different save key on the S? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
BrzI Posted March 7, 2019 Author Posted March 7, 2019 Yep. Sure did. It saves it for the duration of the flight. But when I reopen the mission later it goes back to overly zoomed in. The 29A is fine. Just the 29S. What makes it more confusing it that there are 29S, 29K, 29G and 29A sections in the SnapViews.lua

What makes it more confusing it that there are 29S, 29K, 29G and 29A sections in the SnapViews.lua The problem is that the missions have the view configs saved in the mission file itself and will override any of your local system settings. Only way to fix is to remove the CONFIG folder from with in the offending .miz file, these files are actually zip files and can be opened with zip viewers to do the removal. On a quick check of the standalone Mig-29 modules mission sets, only the training missions 8,10,11 have this issue, not sure of the actual mission your referring to, may be a different one, but it will have a CONFIG file in it as discussed above. BrzI Posted March 7, 2019 Author Posted March 7, 2019 Thank you. Deleting the CONFIG folder fixed the issue. This was a mission I had created myself...
