lancerr Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 All, Relative newbie to DCS. I've been trying to get more into multiplayer and I'm struggling to get into the groove and I was hoping for some advice. I log on in the evening (930pm in PST time zone) on most days including weekends and I find a few servers that have more than 20+ people in them (ThroughtheInferno, Hoggit/GeorgiaAtWar, BuddySpike, etc). I'm on discord & teamspeak but I've noticed very few people logging into discord. I've also tried to team up but it hasn't worked so far because of time zones. Really fun and educational but I'm not on when they are which makes it quite challenging. Most squadrons seem to be GMT or EST so far. The squadron list doesn't make it easy to see which ones are PST. I'm looking for a light milsim multiplayer experience - what do you guys recommend?
Sparky1b09 Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 (edited) Hey lancerr, I'd be more than happy to fly with you some evenings if you'd like. I'm in the central time zone but my schedule allows me to fly whenever I like and I'm usually up at that time anyway. So if you'd like to fly together just shoot me a PM and we can get together. I have all maps except Normandy and mostly fly the F-18. I'm a member of a squad that has some great mission builders in it so I have a nice array of missions we can fly. I have TeamSpeak and SRS. We can fly just the 2 of us or with some other guys I fly with also if you'd like more people. I look forward to hearing from you. Edited March 11, 2019 by Sparky1b09
GTFreeFlyer Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 I highly recommend sparky! He helped me about two weeks ago with his amazing patience. A great guy :) I’m also looking for exactly what you want and have got a few guys together. I’m the only one of them in pacific time zone. My play time usually begins around 9pm too. Shoot me a message if you are interested!
