F10 Map HAFU Symbology

I'd like to see the F10 Map upgraded (for player CGI, AWACS, etc.) to have similar functionality to the Hornet's SA pages.

 

HAFU ME Icons

I'm not sure how large a task this would be as the current Nato/Russia icons are fixed north aligned or heading aligned and HAFU icons are a mix of north aligned (^, O , etc) with a tail heading aligned (O-, ^-, -^, etc.). It should be doable if the two types of icon can be overlayed i.e. a north aligned ^ is used with a heading aligned -

 

With the above and "Fog of War", it'd look better for streaming, etc. even though it'd be missing most of the SA page functionality.

 

Longer Term - Unknown/Hostile

Allowing F10 Map HAFU icons to be user selected - Red coalition units would be would be "Unknown/Ambiguous" until flagged by the player CGI.

 

Adding a "Unknown" icon to the current "Red or Blue" coalition based IFF likely needs to be part of a larger rework (as F10 map IFF status would need to sync. between clients) but I'd be glad to be proved wrong.

 

LOTATC is likely to respond faster to changing user expectations (as CGI is it's prime focus, while ED's priorities are spread) but it'd be good to see improved realism in the base F10 map for player CGI's
