fl0w Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 1st of all, you can't get your money back, read EULA. 2nd, stop crying and upgrade your PC if you can't join any server. Let me guess, old PC with probably 8GB of RAM and HDD... Go back to FSX if you are disappointed. F-14 is a heavy module, if you can't understand and accept that, no one can help you. P. S. Everyone has crashes and timeouts, and the module is out for 5 days... My computer isn't old, just got it for Christmas. Did I break the magical spell? Maybe you're not sure of this, but there are flight sim players of all varieties with different specs. The fact that this is a prevailing issue here on the forums with 3 threads dedicated to this with people making them long is enough to not say "Go back to FSX." That's exactly how you destroy PR. But I am of course not some critiquing expert. Just realize that there are many players here, even some with 12GB+ and going SSD that have these issues. Don't reply to this, just think about it.
=OPS=Slider Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 My post was pointed specifically to FSX737200, not you Sirius. You are not crying about not being able to run the Tomcat and not asking for refund, but just pointed out in another thread that you have issues running it. Guy above my post is literally crying about module's performance, but he didn't even post his specs… In my case, I can fly the Tomcat on multiplayer, but I had to lower the settings a little bit, and now it's fine. My PC: i5-4460 3.2GHz, 1050Ti 4GB, 16GB RAM, SSD Evo 860 250GB, and it's enough to play. Also, almost every time 1st try is a no go and kicks me out of a server, but 2nd try is all good, except for a bit long loading time.

Maybe my post was a bit too harsh. After all, you did not quote or specify so the complaint seemed rather general and broad. But assuming someone's specs with heat on 8Gb and HDD is just as bad as complaining about performance and demanding a refund. 1
=OPS=Slider Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 I assumed that, basing on my experience, where my friend with 8GB of RAM and SSD couldn't join our server with simple mission, not too many units. When he finally made it, he was able to only take a slot, but not even spawn, and his game sometimes crashed, and sometimes just shut down with no message. For 2 hours when he was trying to connect, he made it maybe like 4-5 times, every time with the same result. That's why I said that FSX737200 probably has 8GBs of RAM and HDD, but is still complaining that he can not connect to any server. On DCS page it says that 8GB is a minimum for LOW settings, and 16GB for heavy missions.
