deepdiver8055 Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 (edited) First in the auto startup mode the right engine starts first thing... then it says starting left engine as the first order. Then there is nothing in the text about starting the right engine but then you don't hear the left engine starting you just notice the heat blurr while the INS aligns. Then the biggie... the idle sounds need to be fixed because it sounds like your flying at military speed in the air while it's idling and taxing on the ramp/taxiway. This is only from listening from the rear in external view. From the front it's fine. It's using the same sounds on the ground as the sounds in the air. This totally throws it off. Second thing is after setting the wing sweep to auto adn pushing down on the yellow handle to unlock the wings do not do anything based on the speed of the aircraft and when i push my button to go into dive mode or auto on my joystick you can clearly see the gauge in front on the front upper panel highlight the mode (MAN, AUTO) when i select either mode but nothing is working with the wings. I still have to go and look down and physically adjust the wing sweep. Another is the round Heading Bug adjustment knob across from the course rotory knob on the display behing the stick. In different modes the course knob works and i can change the course numbers by rotating the course knob on the right side but the heading knob does nothing no matter what mode im in. You should be able to set the heading bug that's displayed on top of the screen and it should rotate around to whatever heading you select but it doesn't. Just my $0.02 Other then that it's an very nice model. But PLEASE get that external sound fixed. Edited April 1, 2019 by IronMike Repaints I've created (screens only) https://www.flickr.com/photos/121556714@N07/albums
ZebraSmasher Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 I tried the Jester auto-start several times but could never get him to startup. Comms check ok, ejector seat engage ok, then "time for startup", then the aircraft wobbled for a few seconds (no idea, ladder being removed?!), then nothing after that. Do I need to do something? To return to the normal mode of operation, the wing sweep handle should be set into the desired position and pressed down followed by closing the emergency wing sweep cover. The MASTER RESET button in front of the manual wing sweep handle should then be pressed and the wing-sweep system set to the same position as the handle. The servo will then drive to the commanded position and re-engage the handle to the spider detent, resuming normal operation. deepdiver8055 Posted March 14, 2019 Author Posted March 14, 2019 Thank You Mike I just reloaded the sim and now they work. The engines sounds are the same though. Gotta fix that. Repaints I've created (screens only) https://www.flickr.com/photos/121556714@N07/albums
