HawkDCS Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 (edited) Most planes in DCS if you move while Air/Power are hooked up ground crew yells at you I noticed in F14 they don't do this. I then shut down after a few missions I flew and still had Air/Power even after I flew the mission and came back. If you don't command removal you have air and power for whole flight right now. I flew for two hours came back and they were still plugged in. Pretty funny bug. Edited April 1, 2019 by IronMike Rig: 5960X @ 4.5GHZ 32GB 3000Mhz DDR4 Titan XP Dell 3415W 21:9 Thrustmaster Warthog
Hovis Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 With the canopy closed you cant hear the chief, trysetting ICS comms to hot mic so you can hear the response (if any) Then at least we know if the chief heard you
HawkDCS Posted March 15, 2019 Author Posted March 15, 2019 I know that, I didn't ask for them to be removed. Which is why usually in DCS when you move forward on ramp it breaks the connection to the ground cart etc. Ground usually says HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING. On F14 its basically staying attached the whole flight if you don't remove it. Rig: 5960X @ 4.5GHZ 32GB 3000Mhz DDR4 Titan XP Dell 3415W 21:9 Thrustmaster Warthog
gorgar0 Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 (edited) For what it's worth, I did get the "Hey what are you doing" message when I started taxing with air and ground power still connected. I was in NTTR in the cold start instant mission. I did unhook them after the warning. Never thought of flying around with them still attached. :) I'll verify it again when I get home tonight and let you know. Confirm that I get the warning. Edited March 16, 2019 by gorgar0
