[NO BUG] Ejection seats armed but not armed during cold start

Hey everyone. Posting here because I couldn't find anything about this through searching. When cold starting, my RIO arms both ejection seats and sets the eject command to both in the Rio pit. The NATOPS says something about a second arming switch on the bottom of the seat but it doesn't seem to be clickable. When. We tried to eject yesterday we weren't able to.

 

For the sake of argument we loaded into a hot start aircraft and we're able to eject no problems (aside from dying immediately). Has anyone else experienced this or are we missing something?

left shift+ E arms the ejection seat, alternatively clicking on the switch on the top of the seat does it, too. Else this could be a desync issue, but you dont need to switch another switch.
