fastfed Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 He's got an X-56 hotas and wants to go through the radar testing, he's not sure what the keybindings are to move the actual stick around and move the pipper on the radar. All the info he's finding is for the front seat. Since I want no business back there lol, could someone help please.. thanks. also what would be awesome is a profile for it, but again I only see for the front seat. thanks
Flappie Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 (edited) Hi, I've just come across the same trouble tonight, but I've learnt a lot. :) For starters, there are two different F-14B commands pages : one for the Pilot and one for the RIO. The problem is the Pilot commands page keeps showing up first, even when you're RIO, and even if you've been here the minute before. Once on the F14B RIO commands page, tell him to select the "Search..." category, then to type "HCU". He needs to map the following, for a start: HCU left HCU right HCU forward HCU backward HCU half-action (pre-LOCK action) HCU full-action (LOCK action) Have fun! Edited March 15, 2019 by Flappie ---

Flappie Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 (edited) Are you new to DCS? I mean, have you been able to bind controls for another DCS aircraft, like the Su-25T? It is important that you double-click on the column showing a title like "X-56 Joystick" or "X56 Throttle", depending on the button you want to bind. Another tip: axis can only be bound in the Axis page. I need to see where you're at in the command options. Can you post two screenshots, please? That would be the Axis page and the Hand Control Unit page of the F-14B RIO. Here are mine: Edited March 16, 2019 by Flappie ---
