As I understand F-14 released only in Beta yet.

 

I bought the module, but can't play it now. What should I do to try F-14 through Steam version?

You will need to enable the Open Beta in Steam.

 

 

Find DCS World in your list of games. Right click and select properties.

 

Then select the Beta tab and opt in for the openbeta - Public Beta Versions.

Does it need to download something ?

Yes. It would need to download the difference in files between the Stable and Open Beta.

 

How large the download is I can’t say as I’ve never installed the Stable branch.

 

Maybe somebody else can assist and chime in.

Right click on dcs in steam library, then click properties. The rightmost tab on the properties window is the betas menu. Click the dropdown and select open beta.
