flybull Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Firstly to the Heatblur team: Let me add my congratulations and gratitude for such a superb model we have with the F-14B! I was hoping you might consider making a cleaner/newer F-14A, as the aircraft might have appeared in the 1970s - early 80s. The F-14B is a work of art - stunning even and i dont want to seem critical. The F-14B looks as it might look TODAY, in a museum, with more than 13 extra years of exposure to changing light, heat and humidity conditions - making it feel older than it would have in service. A factory fresh or near new or "low mileage" A model would offer some variety and with both ages modelled - could please a wider fan-base. On reddit, this idea drew some criticism and some support - which is to be expected. There are few people in this community that can actually attest to what a new/near new tactical aircraft interior might look like, but there are quite a few references available. The fact that an aircraft is out of service does NOT mean it will cease to age visually. this is a point missed by many. Submitted for discussion and consideration. Im really in awe of this masterpiece as it stands. Thank you
HawkDCS Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 I too would like a clean A and B cockpit at some point. If HB never does it sure the community will. The F14 is a work of art as it is but would be nice to have a new pit to admire. Rig: 5960X @ 4.5GHZ 32GB 3000Mhz DDR4 Titan XP Dell 3415W 21:9 Thrustmaster Warthog
