DUSTY Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 (edited) Can someone help me with the logic of the LANTIRN OPER/STBY (Unstow) switch? I accidentally pressed it when my LANTIRN was working fine and it appeared to kill my pod completely. I couldn't get it to come out of 'NOT RDY' after I toggled the switch. I even toggled the power to the whole LANTIRN and waited 9min then hit the 'OPER/STBY' keybind and waited the applicable 30 seconds + and nothing. Would not come back to life. Any ideas? HawkDCS Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 Could be a bug. When you put it back into STBY it shuts down and then has to reboot. I have never had it not come back up though. Super Grover Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 Clicking OPER/STBY when the pod is in transition will do nothing. If you stowed it accidentally, you have to wait 30 seconds for stowing - STBY steady; click again to unstow and wait another 30 seconds. Totally at least one minute. Patience you must have. QuiGon Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 I have stowed the pod to standby after using it and then reanabled it later during the same flight. Worked fine. As Super Grover said, you just need to be patient as this thing is really slot at getting ready, but eventually it will come on.
