Can someone help me with the logic of the LANTIRN OPER/STBY (Unstow) switch?

I accidentally pressed it when my LANTIRN was working fine and it appeared to kill my pod completely. I couldn't get it to come out of 'NOT RDY' after I toggled the switch.

I even toggled the power to the whole LANTIRN and waited 9min then hit the 'OPER/STBY' keybind and waited the applicable 30 seconds + and nothing. Would not come back to life.

Any ideas?

Could be a bug. When you put it back into STBY it shuts down and then has to reboot. I have never had it not come back up though. Did you make sure that you had the knob still powering the pod on?

I have stowed the pod to standby after using it and then reanabled it later during the same flight. Worked fine. As Super Grover said, you just need to be patient as this thing is really slot at getting ready, but eventually it will come on.
