Hello,

question regarding the stop levers and the start sequence.

I started the first engine normal, using the startup sequence described in the manual.

During engine startup of the second engine, I accidently set the corresponding engine stop lever to the off position ("Wurstfinger" on the keyboard, as we say in Germany).

Engine spooled down and stopped.

I now wanted to restart this engine but to no luck. APU was running normally, I tried different times starting the starter sequence but RPM did not rise above 0. Engine temp went up to 120°C but no rise in rpm. I even tried cold cranking position but nothing happens.

Is there a way to repeat an aborted start sequence on an engine?

Regards

Probably flooded engines.

Try closing the fuel cut off valves, then set the starter switch to crank, and then start the engines a couple of times.

I have struggled with this myself, and sometimes it works, sometimes it dont.

I usually run a full crank startup three times.

This is the proceedure i learned with the KA-50, and it works well on that module.
