Payload Selection RIO and VR

Hey everybody. My rio and me, we fly with VR headsets and have problems with the payload selection. That really really tiny wheel. Even with VR Zoom we could see nothing. :(

 

 

So there are a few questions.

 

 

1. How does the rio know which payload is on board? Is there maybe a kneeboardpage for the Rio or an ingame overview? Or does he need make notices while the start preperation?

 

 

2. Is there a way to control that selection wheel with buttons? So haben 6 Buttons für 6 types of payload? Like for example the weapon select switch for the pilot which also provide 4 buttons for every option.

 

 

3. Is there a way to read he info on that wheel without slamming the head into the panel?

 

 

4. Whats best practises for that case? Has any VR Rio some experiences to chare?

1. The current loadout is shown on i believe page 2 or 4 of the Kneeboard (it's there)

2. check the bindings... is all i can think of.

3. no idea i have to lean forward or use VR zoom.

4. I tend to cross check with my pilot what we have on the AC ;) it comes in handy but VR zoom and kinda checking it looks 'right' is the only way I've been able to read that wheel.. HB really need to make it more readable.

I use both the VR zoom feature, and I use the Slow Zoom features to "move my seat" around so I can literally put my face RIGHT up on that wheel. I'm loving the realistic graphics, but I do hope they address it somehow for VR users and the screen door effect

 

Maybe a floating display something like the comm's menu
