So,

Since the ASL now is "fixed" and the DMT can do moving target locks, I've been doing ground attacks with the harrier more.

However, per my understanding of the Tac manual, the ARBS/DMT locked target should get moving target compensation (as a wind correction of all things). Problem is I'm not seeing it. I think the ASL should be offset to "lead" the target or to correct for winds. I have never seen it do this. I'm using CBU's so as long as I do a rear attack on a column its usually ok, I just end up stacking up a pile of them and locking the front vehicle, but I can't do a 30 or 90 degree type attack. Has anyone else seen the ASL line do a lead, compensate for wind or track movers?

I'm quite sure ASL line should do a lead for wind correction, not that sure about the moving target compensation though.

So ASL line is not fully fixed afterall?

Per the Tac manual yes the ARBS/DMT should compensate for moving targets when locked. And it basically works the same as a wind compensation.

A bit more testing suggests that neither wind at 90 degrees to the target azimuth is compensated, nor are movers compensated for.

Maybe it comes when it gets the capability as well to lock on the air targets? Or can it do it already now when the moving ground target tracking is there?
