unable to use Phoenix missiles.

 

Jester wheel dialog will not let me choose the Phoenix missiles.

 

or is there some trick Im missing?

 

I can use the sparrows, but not the Phoenix.

Select sparrows and press weapon selector (look for mapping in controls) - it toggles between PH and SP.

found it thanks...Still issues, I hold down the Release Stores keybinding 3 to 5 seconds, and nothing? so then I rock the trigger step 1, and then 2 and then release stores button again then it fires after holding for 5 seconds?

 

ok trigger for 5 seconds.

So store release is only for bombs. All other weapons use the trigger(space).

Yeah he is a bit unreliable with assigning targets if there are more than two and or friendlies in the mix.

 

Sometimes he will even prioritise a friendly contact before a bandit. It's still very much WIP and quite fiddly.

 

However in single player scenarios he should be quite good at assigning priorities to all enemy contacts in the radar cone. He does this automatically.

Thanks, it's taking me a little to wrap my head around this awesome Aircraft, way different than the F-18. which now seems so much simpler to fly a 10 year old could fly her.

I started off learning her aerodynamics first, then I moved into her subsystems and now Im getting into the DF, and ACM and AG.
